A NOTE FROM DANI
There's something about New York that always leaves you feeling inspired. For Summer '26, Ebony and I travelled to NYC to immerse ourselves in the city - the fashion, the retail stores, the people and most importantly, the way women are dressed.
We spent our days walking the streets, discovering new brands and taking in everything around us. New York has this incredible energy where personal style feels instinctive. Nothing is too perfect. You see masculine pieces worn back with something feminine, polished tailoring with an old tee, unexpected layers and proportions that somehow just work.
That feeling became the starting point for City State.
"We wanted Summer '26 to feel like Ena Pelly at its core. Effortless, confident and modern, with that slightly unexpected edge we’ve always loved.”
- Dani Pelly, Founder and Creative Director
The collection brings together relaxed tailoring, fitted tanks, oversized tees and polos, lightweight outerwear and longline shorts, alongside earthy browns, khaki, stripes, checks and vintage-inspired graphics.I love clothes that can change depending on the woman wearing them. Pieces you can dress up, dress down, layer unexpectedly and make completely your own. Nothing should feel too considered or too perfect.
After spending time researching the city, we joined our long-standing creative team - Steven Chee, Patrick and Rebeccah Vivian - to bring the campaign to life. We shot across SoHo, Chinatown and the New York waterfront, moving from the streets to rooftops and from daytime into the evening. I love the contrast in the imagery - beautiful clothes against the rawness of the city. Concrete, crosswalks, shopfronts, fencing, movement. It feels polished, but still real.
I'm incredibly proud of this collection and so excited to finally share it with you. I hope you find pieces you love, style them in your own way and wear them over and over again.
Welcome to Summer ’26 - City State
