March 05, 2026

Let's celebrate Ena and all women who lead with strength, creativity and heart.

This International Women's Day, we honour the women who came before us - not as nostalgia, but as foundation.

For Ena Pelly, March 8 is a moment to reflect on Grandma Ena as the beginning of everything. Not in a grand, sweeping way, but in the quiet, everyday gestures that leave a lasting imprint. The way she moved through the world. The way she dressed and the way she cared for others.

She was a nurse, a WW2 Lieutenant, a mother, a woman of courage and conviction. But beyond her titles, she embodied an enduring strength and unmistakable style that continues to shape the brand that bears her name.

This year's campaign positions Ena Pelly as a living tribute to the woman behind the name. Anchored in her real story, we draw a powerful line between past and present - honouring a legacy of resilience, leadership and quiet strength. Through Dani's reflection, we see how influence begins close to home, absorbed in childhood moments that quietly shape who we become.

"My Grandma Ena was determined, hardworking, and endlessly patient. As a mother of five, she handled life with calm resilience - a quality I strive to reflect in my work, my family life, and challenges I face"

Question & Answer with Dani Pelly

Q: How do you see Ena's pioneering spirit reflected in your own work?

A: My Grandma Ena was such an inspiring woman. My Grandma Ena was determined, hardworking, and endlessly patient. As a mother of five, she handled life with calm resilience - a quality I strive to reflect in my work, my family life, and every challenge I face. Being able to stay calm and navigate each situation and each problem as they occur is something that I am trying to practice in my day-to-day life, with our team, with my children, and within my marriage. In all aspects of life, I'm trying to calmly navigate each situation to come up with the best solution possible.

Q: How did growing up with a grandmother like Ena shape your understanding of women's strength, resilience, and creativity?

A: Growing up with a grandmother like Ena showed me that you have to be resilient, committed, and in it for the long game. Dedication is key. Being dedicated to your job, dedicated to your family, and dedicated to your relationships to achieve the outcomes you're after.

Q: Ena led with courage and care, how do you channel her values into the design and ethos of Ena Pelly?

A: My Grandma Ena lived with courage and care, and that spirit has shaped our business and design ethos. We design clothes for real women, pieces that make them feel confident, happy, and bold. Getting dressed should be fun.
