Violence against women is a national crisis

One woman is killed every nine days by a current or former partner. One in four women has experienced abuse by someone they lived with. One in three women has experienced physical violence. One in two women has been sexually harassed in her lifetime.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Violence against women can be stopped, when equality begins. For women to be safe, they must be equal.

The Clare Capsule

Ena Pelly, in support of Our Watch, has created The Clare Capsule - a collection in memory of Clare Pelly, and in support of all women.

Together, Brooke Hogan, Amelia O’Brien, and Lana Wilkinson joined us in support of the Clare Capsule, standing as mothers, advocates, and women united by a shared belief in equality and respect. Each brought a deep sense of purpose to the campaign, using their voices to honour those who have been silenced and to champion lasting change.

At its heart, this campaign is a reminder that violence against women is preventable, and prevention begins with equality. For women to be safe, they must be equal. Every voice matters. Every story matters.
