SENIOR GRAPHIC & TEXTILE DESIGNER


The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic & Textile Designer to lead the creation of innovative, high-quality graphic and textile designs that align with our brand DNA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in trend forecasting, seasonal design development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver market-ready collections that resonate with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic & Textile Design:
  • Design original graphics, prints, and yardage artworks across multiple product categories.
  • Develop artwork tech packs and oversee the technical execution of designs in collaboration with the production team.
  • Build and maintain a graphics artwork bank for internal use.
  • Trend Forecasting:
  • Research and present seasonal trend direction, including colour, print, and outfitting concepts.
  • Develop big ideas and translate trends into commercially viable products.
  • Collaborate with product and creative teams to establish key growth categories and fast-to-market styles.
  • Collaboration & Development:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to align designs with brand objectives.
  • Attend and contribute to key product development meetings, including range reviews and sign-offs.

About You:

  • 4+ years’ experience in fashion, textiles, or a related industry.
  • Strong creative vision with advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Deep understanding of fashion design and ready-to-wear products, with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organisational skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

GARMENT TECHNICIAN / TECHNICAL DESIGNER

As a Garment Technician, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our brand’s reputation for premium fit and finish.

The Opportunity

As the Garment Technician, you will partner with the designers on executing their creative vision while ensuring that each garment meets Ena Pelly’s high standards for fit, construction, detail, and workmanship. Working closely with the team, you’ll help bring seasonal collections to life and implement initiatives such as managing blocks, refining grading systems, and leading a brand-wide fit review project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed tech packs for initial styles, ensuring the Designer’s direction for styling, fit, and workmanship is achieved.
  • Manage and maintain garment blocks and size grading across all product categories, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Lead and support fit sessions, providing technical advice to ensure optimal use of time and resources while maintaining standards.
  • Accurately measure garments and provide detailed fit comments, guiding suppliers to progress samples to the next stage.
  • Ensure all fit, key measurements, workmanship, and grading meet company standards.
  • Oversee the umbrella of quality control, quality assurance, and care instructions, ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Liaise with suppliers on all quality, testing, construction, and fit matters to guarantee production standards.
  • Nominate appropriate care labels and fabric testing requirements for easy customer care and garment longevity.
  • Assist in managing production schedules by regularly updating dispatch and fit deadlines, fabric approvals, and trims status.
  • Coordinate style arrivals and update fit schedules before fit sessions.
  • Lead a comprehensive fit review project to standardize sizing across the brand.

Core Competencies

  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in a similar role, working in a fast-paced retail or fashion environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, grading systems, and fit processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with offshore production.
  • Sound knowledge of garment specifications, quality assurance, and size grading.
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator.

Role Description:

As one of our sales assistance, you will be responsible for sales and supporting the store manager at our beautiful Armadale store!  You have a passion for fashion, great communication skills and a customer first attitude delivering an amazing shopping experience. Ena Pelly offer you a dynamic and energetic work environment and great discounts!
