Wrong sizing

I ordered a size 10 jacket. This is not true to size. It runs 2 sizes too big. I purchased this during a sale and asked to exchange it for a smaller size that was in stock and offered to pay extra and for the postage to exchange for the smaller size. I was told no which seems unreasonable as it is not true to size. Very disappointed.
