All Ena Pelly leather pieces are crafted from premium leather sourced from carefully selected tanneries that have been ecologically approved as by-products of the food industry. This fine lambskin leather is utilised for its lightweight and luxuriously soft texture and small grain. Being a natural skin, it is by nature more delicate than other fabrications. As such, care must be taken when handling and wearing our leather pieces.
SELECTING YOUR LEATHER
We recommend that our clients size down in our leather pieces if in between sizes as this luxurious natural skin can be prone to stretch over time.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LEATHER
Should your leather garment require a clean, we recommend a gentle spot clean by hand with a damp cloth. While spot cleaning, be mindful to avoid excessive rubbing or exposure to excess water and ensure that the colour of your cloth is neutral. Should your leather piece require a more substantial clean, we recommend taking your garment to a leather specialist for cleaning. Do not wash or dry-clean your Ena Pelly leather pieces. Leather can be hung and aired out to refresh, away from direct sunlight. For suede pieces, use a soft dry cloth or brush to clean in light, circular motions to gently remove marks.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LEATHER
To maintain and condition your leather pieces you can sparingly apply leather care products if necessary, following the use instructions on the label. Store your leather pieces using the hanging tapes. Do not hang your leather pieces using clip hangers. For suede pieces, We recommend applying a suede protectant before first wear. If ironing is necessary, use the coolest setting, with a towel overtop to protect the leather. Be sure to avoid direct heat, sharp or abrasive surfaces during wear to reduce marking or damaging your leather garment.
These instructions are designed to ensure your Ena Pelly pieces stand the test of time and can be enjoyed for years to come, as they are intended to.
